IT’S MONDAY! WHAT ARE YOU READING?
t’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! Hosted at The Book Date.
Thursday of last week I went for my first physical therapy appointment. It was an hour long, as each subsequent visit will be. I have 2 more appointments this week and 2 next week. I was walking better after the appointment Thursday but then sore the rest of the day and evening. I’ve also been doing the exercises they’ve given me daily. I am able to see an improvement in my ankle and they are pleased.
WHAT I READ LAST WEEK
Not being as mobile as I usually am I got a lot of books read this past week.

THIS WEEK I PLAN ON READING

Have you read any of these books or plan to? Hope you have a great week.

That was a long list btw
Lots got read while I’m recovering.
The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison. A very, very depressing book. Not nearly as good as some of her others but it was an early book.
Apparently, according to my GoodReads record I’ve read Home by this author. I read it in 2016 before I started writing a review for every book I read. I gave it a two-star rating and haven’t read any more by her.
Mmm, I guess we are both not great fans!
Sounds like the therapy is working. Glad you took advantage of less mobility with reading some very interesting looking books. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
Thank you. I’ve enjoyed the books and am improving. Thank you for stopping in.
Wow 14 books in one week if I counted right. You are a super reader.
Thank you but look again my friend. There are two category headings.
I have read some of Shelley Shepard Gray’s books–both Amish and suspense–and I have enjoyed all of them.
I agree with you. Her books are wonderful in all the genres she writes in.
Ive read The Amish Cinderella and loved it Deanne. I hope you enjoy all of your upcoming reads!📚🍪💜
Thank you Susan. I know I’ll enjoy all of them, as I keep adding to the pile 😂📚☕💜
I have The War Pianist on my “To Read” pile.
I see you enjoy historical fiction like I do. I enjoy what I can learn from them. I think you’ll enjoy this one. May I also suggest The Secret Pianist by Andie Newton to add to your list for when you get a chance. Marion Kummerow is also a favorite author of mine, then again I have many favorite authors.
