MY THOUGHTS
This is an author I am so glad I discovered several years ago and since then I have read all but one of her books. The series are so much fun, and I love seeing the continuation of the same characters in subsequent books.
The Wildflower Lock series is such a gem. The setting of the coffee shop and the houseboat are something I really enjoyed reading about. Its original and I loved it.
Daisy has been waiting for this moment for the longest time and now it has finally happened, Theo has proposed. He comes from a different background than her growing up and his family isn’t the most welcoming upon meeting her. Her anxiety soon zooms off the charts and she finds herself doubting everything about the relationship.
In step her friends and family, which I loved seeing the reassurance she got going forward. Heartwarming romance full of happy and hopeful times. Love will conquer all! Recommended for a sweet read that’ll pick up your spirits!
I was given a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.
Hannah Lynn is the author of over twenty books spanning several genres. As well as signing a new romantic fiction series, Boldwood will be republishing the first of her bestselling Sweet Shop series, inspired by her Cotswolds childhood, The Sweet Shop of Second Chances in April 2023.
With the wedding of the year approaching, excitement is running high at the café! But there’s just one problem. Maddy is grappling with a secret. Could it derail all of hers and Jack’s glorious plans for their big day? Will there actually be a wedding?
MY THOUGHTS
Another book in the Little Duck Pond Cafe? Well then that’s cause for a celebration. These novella length books are like a party in a book, and I love that I can read them in an afternoon especially this busy time of year. The characters……….. I love them and being back for another visit to them is such a fun thing.
At the end of the last book, we had Maddy’s father unsure about a health issue that had come up and we get an answer to it in this book. Maddy is engaged to be married on Christmas eve, but a monkey wrench seems to be thrown in not just that plan but a few other things with Maddy as well.
Once again, the community rallies around Maddy, and also the Little Duck Pond Cafe has others picking up the slack when needed. Charming, small town, friendly, generous and helpful folks, what’s not to love.
Maddy’s story is so realistic but she’s hiding something and it’s causing her a lot of stress. This is where her friend’s step in and reassure her. There’s a whole lotta romance and a whole lotta Christmas spirit and goodness in here. I love these books and am so glad the author will continue writing these because I consider these a smile in a book and these books are just my kind of thing.

Author Bio – Rosie Green’s Little Duck Pond Cafe series of novellas is centred around life in a village cafe and most can be read as stand-alone stories. (‘The Sunshine Sisters’ is a trilogy within the Little Duck Pond Café series and it would benefit from being read in order: Aurora, Skye and Blossom.) Look out for ‘Cosy Nights & Snowball Fights’, and ‘Maddy’s Christmas Wedding’, both out later this year in time for the festive season!

ABOUT THE BOOK
ove Heart Lane – where friends are there for you no matter what
Fashion designer Libby Carter has always loved weddings, so when her brother finds himself in a bind and asks her to step in and plan the perfect winter wonderland wedding for guests at his hotel, Starcross Manor, she happily takes on the challenge. But this is no ordinary Christmas wedding and when everything starts to go awry Libby asks gorgeous videographer Guy Hart for help.
This isn’t single dad Guy’s usual gig – and he is not a fan of weddings – but saying no to vivacious Libby isn’t an option … especially when saying yes leads to one very unforgettable kiss under the mistletoe!
MY THOUGHTS
Starcross Manor is in the Scottish Highlands and owned by Flynn. It’s huge and elegant and Flynn is looking to put it on the map as the venue to have the ultimate winter wedding. He has a wedding planner and photographer all set and he’s set up a contest to give one extraordinarily lucky couple their dream Christmas Eve wedding free and use the video to advertise the Starcross Manor to pump its ratings right to the top. Exit the wedding planner as she’s nowhere to be found and won’t answer texts. The show must go on though as Flynn’s sister, Libby a famous fashion designer agrees to step in and help the couple have their dream wedding just the way they want it. After meeting with the couple multiple times something doesn’t seem right, and they have some pretty odd requests for their wedding. When Libby decides to help, she’s staying at a cottage on the grounds and Guy the photographer is staying at a cabin nearby. Neither is in a relationship; Libby’s ended some time ago and Guy is no longer with the mother of his child an adorable tot. Sparks fly but with all the wedding planning and other dramas happening will there be time for a romance. I enjoyed Guy’s character he seemed like such a nice person. The book has down to earth characters with regular day to day problems. I enjoyed the setting and descriptions a lot. This book has a warm friendly feel and I’ll be reading mor in the series.

ABOUT THE BOOK
Don’t miss this very special standalone novel in the Love Heart Lane series. Previously published as Evie’s Year of Taking Chances but now rewritten and improved by the author!
Love, life, and libraries
Growing up in foster care, Elle Cooper always felt a piece of herself was missing. Now, as her thirtieth birthday approaches, she’s ready to find it. But when instigating the search for her birth mother leads to a whole host of unexpected events, this librarian’s quiet life suddenly gets very loud!
With new friends, old flames and surprising influences keeping Elle busy, she soon starts to see that there’s more to life than where you came from – and that where you are right now, and who you have in your corner, is what might just matter most of all…
Love Heart Lane – where friends are there for you no matter what
MY THOUGHTS
This is another charming addition to the Love Heart Lane series. Elle Cooper is shy and reserved and has been satisfied being a librarian. But something has changed for her, a monumental birthday is approaching, her thirtieth birthday is almost here, and she feels she owes it to herself to find her biological mother and get answers. Growing up in foster care and going from home to home has left her with low self-esteem, why didn’t they want her? Her last foster parent whom she considers her mom has been the best and she is still close to this woman, but she still wants answers. She’s down to earth and doesn’t really dress to impress. When an author has a book signing at her library, she’s sure that’s the last she’ll see of him. Full of fun friendships, a friend of hers moves in so they both save on expenses. A book that has a library and book club meetings? I’ll take it. I loved meeting up with the characters from previous books in this charming series again. Small town friendship with strong female friendships and the characters having each other’s back and doing what they can for each other. Now this is my kind of book.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

ABOUT THE BOOK
Tis the season to solve a murder—and innkeeper Holly White knows she’ll have to make her list and check it twice if she wants to catch the killer in the 4th Christmas Tree Farm mystery from bestselling author Jacqueline Frost.
For inn keeper Holly White, Christmas time in Mistletoe, Maine, is the ultimate holiday gift. Business at the Reindeer Games Inn is booming, her wedding to Sheriff Evan Gray is nearly here, and the annual parade is about to begin. The town is lucky to have another gift this year with the state’s ballet company staying for several performances of The Nutcracker. But disaster strikes when Tiffany, the lead ballerina, shows up dead on a float during the parade, the Rat King’s mask nearby. Holly will have to spruce up her sleuthing skills if she wants to catch the killer before Christmas—and her wedding day.
Immediately, Holly discovers that Tiffany had more than a few secrets. She finds out that the star of the show had a super fan that no one knows anything about. And the show’s understudy slips some other intriguing information Holly’s way: not only was Tiffany secretly seeing someone romantically, but there seems to be more than one rat in this company. When Holly discovers a secret passage leading to Tiffany’s dressing room, with footprints leading out; she wonders if this is evidence of a secret lover—or a stalking killer.
MY THOUGHTS
The Christmas Tree Farm Mystery series is one of my favorites. I just love this series, in one of the previous books it focused on the Christmas tree farm, it was such a wonderful book.
Now there is a gift shop/bakery and its totally Christmas related. How can you go wrong with a town named Mistletoe. Mistletoe is in Maine, with lots of snow there’s no worries about the town’s folks getting into the holiday spirit.
Inn keeper Holly White is one busy lady, the ladies from the Nutcracker ballet are staying at Holly’s Reindeer Games Inn while practicing for their big show and on top of that she’s planning a wedding this Christmas. When a ballet dancer is discovered dead the investigation starts.
When it’s discovered that the ballet dancer is hiding more than a few things could those secrets have led to her death? I remember Sheriff Evan Gray in the other books, now he’s about to be a married man with his Christmas wedding.
With a terrible murder to investigate right before their wedding will Evan and Holly’s wedding plans go on as planned or will they blow away in the freezing cold wind? I’ll be on the lookout for more books in this intriguing holiday mystery series.

About The Book
Librarian Lucy’s wedding is nearly perfect—aside from a missing guest and the strangled body she finds. Now, she must vow to find the killer in this 10th Lighthouse Library mystery.
Lucy and Connor planned for the perfect Outer Banks wedding—and that’s exactly what they got. Aside from typical rumblings of familial tensions, the late spring weather allowed for a beautiful day, the food was delicious, and everyone had a good time, until one of the guests goes missing.
Before Lucy can look forward to the rest of her life in Nags Head and the work she does at the Bodie Island Lighthouse Library, she gets a phone call from her boss, Bertie James. Eddie, Bertie’s friend, never made it back home after the reception. Initially, Lucy doesn’t think anything of it—sometimes wedding guests simply have a little too much fun. But this quickly turns to something darker when she discovers the body of a wedding guest strangled in a locked closet, and the police immediately start asking questions about Eddie. Lucy must figure out if the two are connected before it’s too late—both for Bertie’s friend and the rest of her wedding guests.
With the Classic Novel Reading Club reading the Selected Works of Edgar Allan Poe—Lucy wonders if the master of the macabre can assist her investigation or if the hunt for the killer’s identity will remain as nothing more than an unsolved mystery.

About The Book
A wedding brings a shocking surprise in New York Times bestselling author Lori Wilde’s newest Moonglow Cove novel. Perfect for fans of Susan Wiggs, Jill Shalvis, and Robyn Carr.
It wasn’t the wedding night she’d expected!
When Samantha said “I do” to Luca Ginelli, she knew she’d found a reliable soulmate—a strong, sexy man who’d stand beside her through thick and thin. And so she’d started her wedding day filled with joyful expectation, only to have her dreams shattered when the man she married years before shocking, unexpectedly, reappears, insisting she was still his wife!
Seven years before, Luca’s brother, Nick, had stubbornly set off in a sailing adventure, ignoring the pleas of his young bride and all common sense. He’d disappeared without a trace; everyone thought he was dead—but now he’s expecting to pick up where they’d left off. He’d once been Samantha’s “lightning strike,”—the person you know is the one from the moment you first see them.
But seven years is a long time and so much has changed. Now Samantha is faced with an impossible choice and no matter which decision she makes, it threatens to shred the very fabric of the one thing she holds most dear—family.
Once again, we are back in beautiful Moonglow Bay, Texas, such a charming place. With the breeze coming off of the water and all the friendly folks you’re going to want to stay awhile. I couldn’t even imagine the story line of this book. All the things that would be running through your head if it were to happen to you. You would be second guessing yourself and it would be quite a mess. A childhood filled with uncertainty comes to an end when insecure Samantha is adopted into a wonderful and loving family and her foster sister Piper becomes her best friend. They are closer than sisters. Starting at a new high school she and Piper meet Nick Ginelli, Piper is interested but he only has eyes for Samantha. After a whirlwind relationship they marry and have a baby, Destiny. This is a burning hot love, an immature love where they should have waited but were too into each other to wait. After a fight Nick goes out to cool off and spend time by himself. In the seven years that he’s been gone all they’ve found is his shipwrecked boat. He and his family were very close he would never just leave them. In the seven years that Nick has been gone, Samantha and Nick’s brother Luca have fallen in love. It should be the happiest day of her life, after waiting seven years for Nick to be declared dead she is free to marry again and it’s her wedding day, again. She is happy but bittersweet memories of Nick keep playing in her memory. On the wedding night after things start settling down, a huge uproar occurs! Before the marriage has a chance to be consummated, in walks Nick. There are many questions, many tears, much happiness. His family is thrilled. He had been shipwrecked on an island for seven years and just got rescued. Now where does this leave Samantha? Is she still legally married to Nick, is she actually married to Luca? The book will really grip you as Samantha works through who she should be with, it causes her many tears. She has a daughter with Nick, but he disappeared before she even got to know her father. I could not put this down, I had to see how it would work out and who if either of them she would choose. To me this sounds like a movie plot, and I loved this book. I can’t wait to see what the author comes up with next.
