I finished Secrets of the Lost Ledgers by C J Archer, which is the fifth book in the Glass Library series. I was in the mood for a historical romance, so I’m currently reading A Winter Scandal by Candace Camp, which is also turning out to be an interesting mystery.

I am currently reading T.C. Boyle’s novel called Stories featuring sixty-eight “varied, clever, and delightful” (The Chicago Tribune) short stories, including seven never-before-published tales.

My 98 year old mother loves animals. Can you recommend a lighthearted book to cheer her up now and then? Thanks.
