I would join a sticky toffee pudding club!💖
No doubt, it would be popular.
I finished Secrets of the Lost Ledgers by C J Archer, which is the fifth book in the Glass Library series. I was in the mood for a historical romance, so I’m currently reading A Winter Scandal by Candace Camp, which is also turning out to be an interesting mystery.
I’ve never read Candance Camp books but have certainly heard of her. I may need to check out her books as historical is one of my favorite genres.
I’m currently reading ‘Love on the Brain ‘
Great to get lost in a good book
I’m reading the first in the Icelandic mystery series by Ragnar Jonanson – very atmospheric.
I am currently reading T.C. Boyle’s novel called Stories featuring sixty-eight “varied, clever, and delightful” (The Chicago Tribune) short stories, including seven never-before-published tales.
My 98 year old mother loves animals. Can you recommend a lighthearted book to cheer her up now and then? Thanks.
That’s awesome she loves animals. I recommend
Henry the Snail
by Katarina Macurova
All Dogs Are Good
Poems & Memories
by Courtney Peppernell
It’s a Wonderful Dog
by Keri Salas
Pumpkin Day at the Zoo
by Susan Meissner
The Nine Lives of Summer
by Jem Vanston
I read and enjoyed all of these. I hope she finds a few titles here she’ll enjoy
Best wishes!
I appreciate your book recommendations.
You’re welcome!
I am reading ‘Capital Gaines’ by Chip Gaines
I’ve had it for quite a while and finally started reading. I enjoy it and I’m only in Chapter 2.😄
I have heard of that one but haven’t read it. I hope you enjoyed it.
