I’ve made a few bookish challenges for myself to follow this year. I belong to several Goodreads groups and do challenges through them from listed prompts. But these are just challenges I’ve made for myself to move some books off my to read mountain.

READ ALL MY CHRISTMAS/ WINTER BOOKS FROM NETGALLEY
I have 6 books from 2021
I have 18 books for 2022
I have 36 books for 2023
I have 2 books for 2024
The books I’ve mentioned above are all Christmas/Winter books I’ll be reading in 2024 because I read Christmas books all year long and do a Christmas in July where I’ll be posting a lot of them.

Good luck Deanne! You’ve got this!📚💜
Thanks, and you too! 💯🍪👍🏻💜
Thanks Susan, I do believe I’ve got this and I know you will do yours too 💯. I hope you’re ready for lots of Christmas book posts throughout the year 😂📚⛄🌲
Just remember I have many to read as well Deanne, and I also read Christmas books all year long!🤷😂📚💜
Yes, I know you’re going to get a lot read this year Susan. Christmas books really can’t be beat . 🌲⛄💜❤️☕🍪
Thanks for sharing this idea. Anita
You’re welcome. Great day to you!
Christmas in July is such a neat idea
Thank you. I have fun with it and it’s a great way to get books off my shelf. Christmas books. 🌲📚⛄
Sounds like fun!!! 🙂 Enjoy those books!
Thank you. 😀 I sure love to read and seeing the accomplishment of getting some books off the shelf is encouraging. Have to make room to add more 😂🍫☕🫖🍪📚🧹🫑
Great choices. You must be a fast reader. Thanks
Thank you. Yes, I am and it’s a good thing too because I have so much to read.
Unfortunately, I am not the fastest reader and reading for 45 min or so before bed doesn’t do it, so I’ve carved out time on the patio when I get back from my walk for some reading (wrapped in a warm coat with some hot coffee!)
Truthfully reading at bedtime puts me to sleep 😴, how embarrassing is that 💤 . That’s a great idea reading after walking when you’re energized and then relaxing with coffee on your patio. I’ve spent time outside recently on my patio as well. I feed a beautiful stray orange cat 😺 and I talk to him and he loves the pets.
Orange cats are the bomb! I hope you can keep feeding him – so sorry he’s a stray – they suffer outside all the time.
I like the idea of a personal challenge more than the ones posted online. There’s nothing wrong with those; it’s just not what motivates me. It sounds like you are well organized to complete your challenges.
Thank you. I hope so. I do enjoy setting my own goals, it makes me more motivated!
It’s a great goal!! You CAN do it!
Thank you. We both can. I know it. ⭐
Well, here’s to lots of reading in 2024, may we all accomplish reading more of our to read lists than before and hopefully getting all caught up. Thank you for sharing!!!
You’re welcome. Here’s to both of us having a wonderful 2024, reading wise and otherwise.
What is NetGallery?
Netgalley is a website for readers to join for free. They are able to request books they think sound interesting then when read they review them and put their review on places like Amazon, Goodreads, their blog, etc. There’s not a guarantee that every book you request you’ll be approved for. It’s mostly books that haven’t published yet so you get an early digital copy. I’d suggest you look up netgalley.com if you’re interested. Good luck.
Make sure you’re looking up netgalley not netgallery
Good luck, Deanne. I’m sure you will be successful. I also have lots of Christmas books to read and will be doing Christmas in July.
Thank you, Carla, and best of luck to you with all of your challenges. We have plenty of books to keep us busy with these challenges for sure. Christmas in July is fun to do, I did it last year for the first time and it’ll be a repeat performance this year. I’ll look forward to your posts as well.
