Thank you again for all your kind words, well wishes and prayers. Some days I feel energetic and positive about things and other days are not as easy. Today is two weeks in out of six when I should be healed. I am walking and doing ankle exercises every day and it’s not always easy but do them I must. I am tired of being in bed but if I sit in a chair or on the couch it’s very painful to get up because I need to use both feet to balance myself to get up. As I write this, I am on the couch downstairs, hopefully it’s not too much getting up. The weather is so cold and windy, and we’ve had snow every so often and expect more Wednesday. I’ve been out four times since getting hurt, 3 times to the dr and once to go in a grocery store. It wasn’t too bad as I was pushing the cart, so it supported me. I just haven’t felt up to going out more than that. I hope all is well with you and I enjoy reading all your comments.

I’ll continue to do the Daily Prompt for the rest of the month and then decide if I’ll continue it into February. I’m not sure what memes I’ll do on the blog next week. I have 2 blog tours to post next week: one on the 22 and one of the 25th.

SUNDAY POST

Christmas will be here before we know it and I’m not ready. What about you? I still have gifts to wrap and baking to do. I always do my baking 2 days before Christmas, otherwise it’ll all get eaten. The kiddos are off school on the 21st and return January 2nd. Summer vacations and holiday breaks aren’t as bad as they used to be because they are older now with the youngest one now being 12. Our oldest son and his wife are expecting twins, and we all are greatly looking forward to the birth. Due date February 8 but they won’t let her go past 37 weeks they said. These are our first grandchildren, and the anticipation is high. We have about 24 hours of rain coming in today and tomorrow so a soggy time will be had. This week has been incredibly busy with going out Christmas shopping, a doctor visit for my hubby, taking our son back and forth to work, library trips, taking stuff to GoodWill after a cleanup, multiple trips to Walmart and visiting my husband’s parent’s graves. SUNDAY POST

This week we’ve had rain several days which has held me back from walking as much as I’ve wanted to. Thank goodness for workout dvd’s which I still do. We were going to go to the Fall Festival yesterday at the state park but decided to skip it because my daughter has asthma, and the cool and rainy weather wouldn’t have been in her best interest. She didn’t really care as she was busy watching anime. I’ve been cramming in books like crazy reading. I have 2 blog tours to post on the 24th and I haven’t started either book. The one I just posted yesterday was supposed to be posted by the day before. It’s not fun falling behind. My kitten is 16 weeks old and just about the size of our 9-year-old cat. She can hold her own with her when he play fights with her, she’ll take him down.

Sunday Post

This week we have the kiddos going back to school. My youngest daughter will be in seventh grade and my youngest son will be in tenth grade. Hard to believe my others have all graduated, some have moved out and most have jobs. I also have very exciting news that I’m finally allowed to share 🙂 My oldest son and his wife are expecting and its twins. I will be a first-time grandmother and it’s a two for one. The gender reveal party is tomorrow night. We are all over the moon. This is the son that’s a police officer. As for reading I’ve read 6 books this past week.

This has been a busy time as far as birthday’s go. We had a daughter with a birthday January 31, a daughter with a birthday February 1, a son with a birthday, today February 5 and another son with a birthday February 19. In reading business I’ve squeezed a few books in and will list those.
