WATCHED LAST WEEK
Still watching Downtown Abbey, on Season 4 parts one and two of last episode. I was saddened to hear of the death of Dame Maggie Smith. I think she is my favorite character in this show.
I hope you’re enjoying your weekend. Stay safe.

Margaret Smith (she preferred that to Maggie) was such a great actor! I shall miss her.
She was brilliant . I’ve never watched Harry Potter but I may just to see her act in it.
Looks like you had a productive reading and blogging week.
I was saddened to hear of her death. I stopped watching Downton after a couple of series as it got a bit too emotional for me. She was definitely a stand out character though.
Have a great week next week!

My post:
Yes, she was a brilliant actress, I loved her wit and sarcasm. You’re right, very emotional always a stressful situation popping up with the family. The sisters sure had their share of heartache and poor Anna.
Thank you, I hope you have a wonderful reading week upcoming as well.
Yes. She had a way of delivering.
It was. Obviously I want things to happen but it got a bit too much.
Thank you 😊
You’re welcome 🙂
😊
I was sad about Maggie Smith too. She was a legend.
Yes, she was, an amazing woman. I would have loved to meet her.
She will definitely be missed
She really will be she had such wit,
I watch a little bit of Downton Abby. Never got into it but, I imagen Margaret Smith most of been a good actor.
Have a great week.
I hope your week has been going well also. I enjoy the historical time period, so I’ve really gotten into it, and she became my favorite character.
Dame Maggie Smith was a wonderful actress and person. She will be a great loss to the world of entertainment. There was a wonderful program where there was an evening with her, Judi Dench, and two others just sitting around talking about their careers and experiences. I wish I could remember what it was called. It’s worth watching. 💖📚
I think I’d enjoy watching anything she is in. I’ve even considered watching the Harry Potter movies and that’s not my thing but may be worth it to see her.
I never thought Harry Potter would be my thing either, but I adored the books and enjoyed the movies. My step-grandson talked me into doing a buddy read with him back when they were all coming out.
That documentary was called Tea with the Dames, and it was great.
i may just watch them. What an excellent idea, I love the idea of a buddy read. Now that’s fun.
Thanks for the info , I’m going to see if I can find it.
