FIRST LINE FRIDAY

Happy Friday & welcome to First Line Friday! It’s time to grab the book nearest to you and leave a comment with the first line. Today I’m delighted to feature the first line of In the Blink of a Pie. This is the third book in this delightful cozy mystery series.

I hadn’t read this book either, but did go see the movie since my sister and niece have read it and lots of other books by her; however I decided to get it and start reading it since Karen Kingsbury said that after reading this book she decided to write all of her books the way she does!
It is great telling or retelling of Hosea and his wife as well as how Jesus loved all of us! Francine Rivers says that after studying the book of Hosea she decided to turn her life to Christ and start writing what has been called Life Changing Fiction!

Isn’t that a lovely cover, Emily Jane? I’ve read other mysteries, but in the past few years have really gotten into cozies. Now I want to check out the book you’re reading, I’m intrigued. Will be stopping in at your blog too.

Happy Saturday!
Life has been insanely crazy, so I am sorry for my tardiness in replying to everyone’s Friday posts. But I’m here now. LOL. I hope life has been less crazy for you.
Anyway, I’m just getting into Once Upon a Boyband by Jenny Proctor. So far, it’s super good!

I hope you are having an excellent weekend full of rest and reading! 🙂❤️📚

Happy weekend. I hope you’ve had lots of reading time. I’d like more but it doesn’t always happen. I’ve been getting into some pretty good books though. Hope you’ve enjoyed your book and are reading another great one now.
