What part of your routine do you always try to skip if you can?

Well I believe that’s why it’s called a routine because you do it daily and maybe in a certain order as well, maybe even at a certain time too. There are certain things I have to do daily, it would be irresponsible not to. Like feeding my cats, scooping their boxes and getting the kids up for school. Other things I wouldn’t mind skipping would be doing the dishes or a general clean up of my house. I won’t let myself do this though, it’s not responsible and I really do prefer sanitary living conditions.

What was your favorite subject in school?

I very much enjoyed creative writing and English class. When I was 13 we moved to Yuma, AZ and were in Arizona for two years. I decided I would take Spanish since there were quite a few speaking it around me. Let’s just say, I didn’t do so well. My oldest son took 3 years of it and did very well though.

Describe a family member.

This family member still lives at home and used to work at Ulta warehouse with his sisters and brother. He now works at another warehouse in Chambersburg, PA called Ingram. They put together books. He has a strong work ethic and is always taking overtime when it’s available. He bought his first car last summer with cash so he wouldn’t have any car payments. He enjoys true crime shows and history. He also enjoys astronomy. He has been eating better and improving his diet but he loves his Reece’s as well. Last week he was on vacation and took a bus to South Carolina He had a great time. His job hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p m.  Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. We are proud of our son.

What have you been working on?

I’ve been working on my health. Eating better and walking, meal prepping and planning. I’m enjoying the weight loss and extra energy that’s going along with this.

What makes a good neighbor?

I once had a neighbor who asked personal questions, had an outside balcony and made no pretense of not staring from her queenly throne and starting at everything our family did while outside. She would also call me from her balcony when I was in the house, she’d peer in my windows as she could see in. Now this is not how you have a good neighbor. I was glad when she moved away.

What principles define how you live?

I try to be the best I can every day and treat others the way I’d want to be treated.

What have you been putting off doing? Why?

I’ve been putting off cleaning out and organizing stuff in my bedroom walk in closet. Once I get started I know it’s going to take hours and I’m just not feeling it. I need motivation for this job. Or maybe it’s coffee I need instead. 🤣😂

When was the first time you really felt like a grown up (if ever)?

I have always been the mature type, handling my responsibilities and getting my first job as a dog groomer at 13. Though asked I was not the type to go out partying and had no use for drinking. So when I became pregnant at 21 and held that precious baby boy several months after I turned 22 I knew this was it. Time to put any foolish notions I may have had left over and become the adult I was supposed to be. This little guy was dependent on my husband and I and we’ve never regretted it. On December 26th last year this oldest child of mine and his wife had twin boys. He is also a detective with a police force in Maryland. I am not allowed to share pictures of the babies for their safety because of his job. We are truly grateful and blessed.

What’s something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail.

I would have a rescue organization and charity for animals. All animals well enough brought in would be spayed or neutered before being adopted out.

Who are your favorite artists?

My favorite artist for many years has been Mary Cassatt.
