What was the best compliment you’ve received?
I had a large family and going out shopping 🛒 with them to the grocery store could be stressful. I remember once when I had a new baby in the shopping cart, one in the shopping cart seat and several walking beside me and the baby was screaming someone told me what a wonderful job I was doing and they wouldn’t have been as brave as I was. Well that did make me feel good. Thank goodness hubby was there to help too.

We took our children, ages 8 and 5, on a bus trip into Denali National Park, a long day. We heard the groans from the other passengers when we boarded. But we got a standing ovation from them when we got back – my son Patrick, who has eagle eyes, spent the time spotting animals for everyone, including one of only two pairs of gray wolves in the park!
Awwww, that’s lovely. I’m sure he had a wonderful day and that his observation skills helped the others have a better day too. I’m sure that was a proud moment when you returned to the bus. It was a lot of work when they were all younger but sometimes I really miss it.
Me, too, and far too often. Grandkids help.
Haha our stories from this daily word prompt are pretty similar. 😂
Hahaha! My husband always is amazed how I notice everything, but I’m amazed with how much he misses. How is it even possible.
Because our hubbies see us…keepers!
