Hello all.
I could use a little help if possible. I can go to my blog from my phone through the browser just fine. When I get a WordPress email telling me someone like a post of mine when I click on the link it doesn’t take me to the post and whatever page it takes me to it flickers . The only way I can get out of it is to turn off my phone. This problem is only with my phone.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

you might want to be careful and check for the source of the email. it could be a malicious email. wordpress does send you notifications via email but clicking on links is not wise. have your computer checked for malware and scan for viruses just in case. and reach out to wordpress customer care to know if they sent you the email. also please check your phone and make sure the latest software updates have been made. if the software is up to date then have it checked for hardware issues by a professional like at the store where you purchased the device. cheers.

Yes, thank you. I’m not sure what has changed but no more clicking links in emails. I’ll be using the jetpack app which I have installed from now on.

Thank you, dear friend. I’ve come a long way from when I started using the computer, but things still change all the time and when you think you know something it’s already changed. I think I’ll just use the app for my browsing rather than emails from now on. I’m not sure why things changed but that will be the simplest way for me. Thanks for replying.

Where there’s a will, there’s a way. Do you know any teenagers? They are the ones who can fix anything computer related!

I don’t use the site on my phone, Deanne, I use the jetpack app to read comments. Not sure what is happening.

Hi Deanne,
I’d suggest contacting WordPress support. If they take a while messaging them on X (formerly Twitter) speeds things up. Otherwise I’d recommend buying a new smartphone it could be a software issue unless you are ok with relying on your tablet or laptop instead to access your WordPress blog content, perhaps? I think like some people have said it might be a good idea to scan your smartphone for malware or viruses there are free apps for that on the appstore. Hope you get this fixed!

Thank you. I’m not sure what happened but as of a few weeks ago it has changed for me, so I’ll be using the jetpack app from now on.

Should come up with a tote bag with the Homestead library.
