At my age my mother was done raising me and had pets she cared for with my help. I was out working and contributed to the household expenses and bought my own food.

My Dad had passed but my Mom was still going strong, living on her own in Florida!
Glad to hear she had the fortitude to keep going. My grandmother started traveling extensively after my grandfather passed away. Traveling with her best friend it was great to see.
She was still going at 90!

I’m sorry, Sandy. I don’t think any family goes unscathed by cancer in some way.
