I had no idea they were still putting the 454 big block into Corvettes in 1974. I always think of “the end of the era” as right around 1971.

The first car I ever owned – an 1930 Model A phaeton.
My neighbours had a mustang convertible, not sure of the year, but I loved that car. We went to lots of places in that car.
