Have you ever performed on stage or given a speech?
I’ve done the necessary stage performances in school but as far as seeking out performances or publicly speaking, no way. I am not interested in drawing attention to myself.

I feel the same way, but sometimes you have to.
Unfortunately, yes.
Lovely picture. I’ve performed in two plays, given tens of speeches, and so many one hour lectures to hundreds of med students, I can’t count.
She is lovely, I agree. You are much more outgoing that I. I’m sure after a while it becomes second nature, and you don’t even think about it.
Yes and no. I always prepared for classes and talks and lectures by practicing. But that’s made it easier for me to just get up and talk!
I don’t like to draw attention to myself mostly. But as a performer in life, sometimes the laughter becomes intoxicating because I love laugher.
Laughter is a beautiful thing as long as it is not cruelly directed towards someone.
speeches, no. but i did sing for many years in choirs with a (very occasional) solo. only once or twice was i able to get “into the zone” and forget myself, the audience, and just sing. several times, my two soprano buddies and i performed “the Supremes.” i was one of the backup singers. that was fun!!
