Oh good grief, Deanne. I have so many scars – two knees, two shoulders, a hernia, gall bladder, plate in my neck – and yet, I am very lucky to be healthy and moving!
I have had my gall bladder out and rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder. I consider myself blessed to be relatively healthy and to live in a place where surgery is possible and doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg.
Absolutely you are blessed Carla. Having your health is one of the best things possible. It sounds like you’ve recovered well from your surgeries as well. My husband had a cancer surgery last summer and I took care of him during his recovery time and he’s recovered well too.
A cancer scare is the worst. I’m glad he is okay.
