Which food, when you eat it, instantly transports you to childhood?
How is it only Friday , this week is really dragging because of the heat.
A food that takes me back to my childhood is one my mom used to make. She’d fry sliced potatoes, eggs and cheese in a skillet. This was of course when I didn’t think anything of eating fried foods and man was it delicious 😋🥔🍳🧀.

It’s better than talking about the chocolate bar and ice cream my mom got me one time when we went to the mall. I loved it then but as a parent now I’m not too sure about that choice. 🤣

Not that I haven’t done the same thing with junk food for my kids instead of making dinner sometimes but we won’t talk about that 😜😂

Sounds good. My Mom made us something she called Warwick. No idea why — a fried egg covered in the pan with a piece of toast buttered on both sides, then flipped over until the toast got brown and crunchy,

I’ve never heard of that but I’d eat that. It sounds tasty. I remember my grandmother making French toast and toasted cheese, I haven’t had either for years.

I was born and raised in France. There, many school kids in the 1980s had a piece of bread and chocolate as afternoon snacks. So the best way to bring a smile on my face is to offer that to me. 😉
