I have planted a diversity of native plants. There are plants for caterpillars, butterflies and moths.

I don’t do much right now, but I used to serve lunch at the Downtown Mission twice a month, volunteered in the library at the neighbourhood school, and was on the board of directors for our local figure skating club. Now I am traveling a lot, so am taking a break.
I belong to the book club, have given two lectures, and hubs and I plant wildflowers in the field where the nature walks are. He also takes care of the plantings that are adjacent to our property and we paid to have a beautiful tree in the field trimmed because it is old and needed it. A black walnut.
Oh, it’s so important to keep the wildflowers planted and I love the idea of the black walnut getting special care. Keeping busy is the best thing to do, so many benefits.

yes! i’ve planted for Monarch butterflies and try to find colors that will attract hummingbirds.
