I am a morning person all the way. Unless I’m not feeling well, I get out of bed and start on morning chores and then will do a 3 mile walk. All without the benefits of coffee because I can’t stand the taste of hot coffee (sorry Susan ☕) I also don’t eat until 10 because I do intermittent fasting . I’ve noticed I like the benefits of intermittent fasting, more energy. My fasting schedule is 6 p.m. til 10 a.m. but what works for me may not work for you. Just letting you know how I get my energy to feel productive.
Have a great 🌃 thanks for stopping in.

That’s right. It’s great to have energy in the morning and all day with the proper nutrition and intermittent fasting. Morning blessings.

I am just the opposite, I am not at all good in the morning. When I was working I never gave a lecture or interview before 11h. But I am usually quite productive in the afternoon and evenings – at least I think so.
All the best

I’m so glad you found your energy in tbe afternoon and evening Klausbernd. I will admit before doing the intermittent fasting I didn’t have morning energy with but then it changed. We’re all different so I’m glad you found what worked for you. All the best you as well. Thank you so much for stopping in today. 🤗

oh, not me. hubby is the morning person, but as i’m getting older that is changing a bit. still, i guess that means the intermittent fasting happens here as well as we eat last meal of the day by 7 pm and breakfast usually not until 10:30-11:30 am. much earlier than that, i have no appetite except for the mocha.

I have found I don’t even crave food in tbe morning, my body is used to doing without in the morning. Some days I don’t eat til 11 because I’m busy with other things. Mind over matter I guess. Yes, I like cold coffee drinks but not hot. I can not sleep in unless I’m sick even as I get older , I’m up by 6:30 to 7 and feel the need to get going.

yes, us too, not so much a breakfast as a brunch;). if it’s a decent breakfast, it’ll last until dinner. i know we are supposed to eat smaller meals several times of day, but just can’t do it. i’m awake early because of the dog, but read in bed, enjoying the mocha. my favorite time of day.

Mornings are the time for me. I often walk if it’s going to be a hot day, or swim early. Then do email and write. But I’ve discovered if I am really into what I am writing, I can do it almost anytime.

Do you have a favorite writing spot and what about distractions? Do you find yourself distracted while you write or are you good at blocking it out?

I’m pretty much single minded, once I get going. My office is off our bedroom and isolated from the rest of the house!

Sounds like the perfect spot for distraction free writing. Just what is needed.

When I first started the fasting i thought it would be hard to miss breakfast because I used to get so hungry in the mornings, but I got used to it and got into my busy routine and don’t even think about eating until later. Don’t you just love being a morning person? I know I do; I feel I can accomplish so much if I don’t laze about early in the morning and it puts a spring in my step for the day.
