Describe a random encounter with a stranger that stuck out positively to you.
Some years ago when I lived in Beckley, WV I was out walking and struck.up a conversation with a woman I saw outside her house doing some yard work. Now I am an introvert so this is pretty unusual for me to do. We became friends . The coincidence is my son was already friends with her son but I didn’t know this.

I’ve had many but one that has stuck with me over the years is meeting an old Czech woman on a day when Hubs and I were walking on Letna, a park overlooking Prague. She spoke English and asked us, “Do you know why the Czechs have survived all the wars and invasions? Because we chose to live on our knees rather than die standing up!”
