Daily Prompt 18 March monday

What was the best compliment you’ve received?

Me being silly at BK this past Fall

A compliment I received recently is that I don’t look old enough to have a son in his early 30’s.

When my children were younger I was always appreciative of the compliment that my children were well behaved.

Aren’t they though? Since I’ve stopped eating meat 5 years ago I have a lot less options for eating out. That’s okay though, I enjoy cooking food at home and it’s a lot healthier. But most weeks I’m there for Whopper Wednesday, make mine an Impossible please. 🥬🍅😂

We don’t go that much but when we go I always order the Impossible Burger. I think is good but of course you can’t eat a lot of those “vegan meat” because there are loaded with sodium.

You definitely don’t look old enough to have a son in his 30’s. I’m 32 and you don’t look old enough to be my mom. My own mom is very young, though. She’s only 48.

Oh thank you. That is young. I remember working with a girl when I was 17 and she was also and she told me she had a baby at 15 and gave it up for adoption. I don’t know the circumstances, if she was forced to give it up by her parents or what.

Great question. I have had a number of people who’ve told me I do not look my age, but I think the best compliment came from my boyfriend of many, many moons ago who told me I looked like Lee Remick – a gorgeous movie star!
