You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, car, or bike?
You wouldn’t get me on an airplane even if it was the quickest route there. The rural area I live in doesn’t offer train service. I know train travel is pretty popular in the UK but I’m not there. I’ve done long distance travel on Greyhound. Not pleasant. A bike would be way too dangerous on interstates whether it was notarized or not. I guess car travel is what is left which I enjoy traveling long distances in.

Bus… there’s a blog. I rode from Tallahassee to Miami one New Year’s Eve. Liquor bottles rolling around…broken bathroom door, light and smells every time we turned and the door opened. People getting sick. Ugh… I’d rather walk 😂
Ugh, I can smell the atrocious smell already ;/ I know what you mean. I rode a Greyhound bus from Pittsburgh to Tulsa as a teen, never again.
I can’t drive a bike so for me train 😁
I’ve not ridden one except for at an amusement park. I know in a lot of areas they are very popular.
Plane as the last resort, trains here are a lost cause, no way on a bus, which leaves car, foot or bike! Since I can only manage 3-4 miles on foot without some serious rest, and haven’t ridden a bike in years that leaves a car!
I hadn’t ridden a bike in years then last year on vacation in NC we rented bikes. It was fun. I do enjoy going out walking. But for trips, a car is my ideal way to travel
Hopefully we’ll be able to afford traveling this way in the future. Where were you in NC?
We stayed at The Inn at Corolla. The cook is a diving instructor, the nicest guy ever. Older guy, long hair in a pony tail. He was telling us about his diving adventures and talking about the weather conditions.
We lived in Chapel Hill for years, recently downsized and now live in Durham.
North Carolina is such a beautiful place. We lived in Aberdeen years ago and I had one of my sons in Pinehurst.
Agreed – it has a lot to offer!
I agree with you, roadtrip it is!
Oh yes. So much fun!
