Write about a few of your favorite family traditions.

One of the traditions we have is making omelettes for brunch on New Year’s day. We buy all kinds of add-ins from different types of meats, to cheeses and veggies. I don’t eat meat so to mine I add tomato, red bell pepper, onion, mushrooms and several types of cheeses. It’s a filling and delicious meal.

I love how your New Year’s Day omelette tradition brings together different tastes and preferences in such a delightful way! It’s a beautiful blend of family, food, and starting the year on a delicious note. Do you have a favorite cheese or combination of cheeses that you find particularly delicious in your omelette? π³π§β¨

That’s a versatile thing to have on a holiday because it can accommodate different dietary needs. I think this sounds like a great idea!

Omelettes are a frequent easy dinner meal in our house – always with veggies and whatever cheese is available but I do like parm-cheddar or gruyere or havarti.

With so many varieties of add-ins they really do make a great meal and they’re nice and filling. I’ve never tasted gruyere so I’ll be on the lookout for it. Cheese is the best π.

Gruyere has a unique taste, but I like it. When we travel to Europe we taste all the cheese!
