It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.

In a few days we will be taking some of the kids to a Fall festival at Cowan’s Gap state Park here in Pennsylvania. It’s such a fun time but I don’t like the addition of food trucks because it’s just a money grab and doesn’t add anything to the festival. They always come home with a nice pumpkin to carve. I’ve been upping my working out and have started back with the Core Rhythms workout. It really works the core and is so much fun. I’ve been eating less sugar and have more energy for it.

What a great reading week you had–lots of new titles for me to take a closer look at. I’m a fan of Libby Klein’s series, although I’m a few books behind–great characters and lovely setting. I hope you enjoy the books you’ll be reading this week.

I tried starting that Diane Kelly series once but didn’t get far in the first book. I honestly think it was the wrong time for me due to some things going on so I hope to circle back soon.

I’ve started that first one at least 3 times, didn’t get very far and then thought I better read the Halloween one. It’s from a year ago so it needs to get off my shelf. I also have the new Christmas one. I’m enjoying the Halloween one so I think I’ll enjoy the first one. I hope you get back to it when you can and enjoy it.

You don’t like the food trucks but I have to admit I get hungry. Wow 11 books in one week. You have certainly been busy reading. I am currently reading “The Story of More: How We Got to Climate Change and Where to Go from Here” by Hope Jahren

I can see your point 🙂 I just wish they would concentrate more on activities and fun things for the kids to do. They had a cool glassed-in beehive you could see, with bees in it and other neat things, now it’s just mostly moneymaking things. Always learning something and that’s great. I wish I was interested in more nonfiction, I read some but not a lot.
