Good morning, some photos from our trip.

We are traveling and stayed overnight in Williamstown, Mass. It’s a college town. We took a few pictures yesterday. Later we are traveling to Salem, Mass. Hopefully Boston tomorrow. My headache medicine picked a good time to start working, thank goodness. We stopped at the grocery store and I see they call them carriages here. Where I live in Pennsylvania, we call them carts. What do you call those grocery carriers?

Thanks for your input from the UK. It’s interesting how we call things different names from different areas. I find it interesting .I’ve read books taking place in the UK and have encountered words like bin , hen and hen party, lovie. I think it’s such fun to encounter dialects from different areas.

Buggies, I have heard of that. Thanks for your input. I think it’s so interesting we call things different names in different places. I lived in Yuma for 2 years but still called it carts because I am originally from the north.

Very pretty, Deanna. I loved my recent trip to Salem and Boston. There is so much to see and do. I call them grocery carts or buggies. I’ve never heard them called carriages.

We call them carts here in PA. I’ve never heard of them called carriages either. That’s wonderful you were able to visit Salem and Bosten recently. We did as well on our trip last week. You’re right, there is so much to see and do, plus the traffic is crazy. We visited the graveyard and Salem Witch Museum in Salem. In Boston we tried 4 parking garages, and all were full, so we disappointedly left the city.

It sounds like it was a marvelous time
I don’t blame anyone for not driving in Boston or Salem. You really have to watch you don’t hit pedestrians, they walk right out into traffic.
