Losing a dog is tough, but hopefully pet mourners can find comfort in these quotes about dog loss. While pets lives’ are temporary, our love for them is not.

This is a beautiful post. I love those quotes in pictures. It made my day. Thank you Deanne.
You’re welcome. It’s so heartbreaking to lose a dog, I’ve as I’m sure you have as well have lost many over a lifetime.
Yes, the worst one for us was the unexpected loss of our Labrador. He died quite unnecessarily and cruelly due to the negligence of an irresponsible dog sitter. That’s an awful story. If I ever post it on my blog I will do it with warnings because the story upsets a lot of people. But it is always a big loss when you lose a dog.
That is a disgrace. I am so sorry for your loss. Never should have happened!
As I have read several dog books recently, this fits right in. I particularly like the quotes by Robert Louis Stevenson and Will Rogers.
I’m so glad you found such a fitting post. I need to read a dog book soon as well. 🐈⬛🐩🐕

These quotes are really comforting for someone who has lost a dog. It’s true that pets may leave our side, but they never leave our hearts. Thank you for sharing. I’m curious to know, which quote resonated with you the most or brought you the most comfort when you were grieving the loss of a pet?
