This sounds like a book I must read. I love good historical fiction.

It really does sound good. Historical fiction is my go to. I used to only read it but in recent years have started reading some contemporary as well.

Wow that does sound heartbreaking. I love dual timelines too especially when there’s an old journal or some other slow burn way of revealing the story. 🙂
