What movies or TV series have you watched more than 5 times?

Well I don’t believe in superstitions but I do believe in paranormal happenings and I have seen ghosts multiple times.

I’m not a TV watcher or movie watcher very often. I can really do without it, but……. Occasionally I do enjoy watching Ghost Adventures. I’ve watched all 25 seasons but haven’t started 26 yet. I love touring the old houses and buildings with them and learning the history of the places as much as seeing the paranormal activity.

Are you superstitious?

I’m not superstitious. I don’t believe in horoscopes crystals, tarot readings,any nonsense about black cats or ladders , mirrors or salt or hats , shoes, keys or anything else. Matter of fact I do believe black cats are beautiful and will make you a wonderful pet.

Which animal would you compare yourself to and why?

I absolutely love animals but I cannot compare myself to an animal. I am happy being a human. Sometimes I wonder who comes up with these questions.

Write a letter to your 100-year-old self.

Dear Deanne,

I see you made it to 100.

Since you have I know it’s not by luck but by taking care of yourself healthy eating, not eating meat, proper care of your skin, resting and relaxation when you’ve needed to along with enough sleep, controlling your emotions a positive attitude, listening to others, compassion and through the grave of God. I’m sure we have cured a lot of diseases including cancers and Alzheimer’s. I’m sure the world is a better place for all of us now. I’m glad I made it to this age and that my health is holding up.

Where would you go on a shopping spree?

Shopping spree you say? Who is funding this shopping spree? If myself, I’d probably buy a few online programs. If I had come into a windfall somehow I’d love to purchase some new furniture for the house.

What is your middle name? Does it carry any special meaning/significance?

I actually have been going by my middle name as my first name since I was 13 years old. My first name is Aprul and I go by my middle name of Deanne.

What is the last thing you learned?

I am a lifelong student

My learning will never end. I want to continuously learn so I can become a better person. So I can help others in need. We have a strong enriched life as we continue to learn.

What is one question you hate to be asked? Explain.

It seems to be the greeting here in the US when you interact with someone. “How are you?” Asked by the butcher, the baker and the candlestick maker. They all ask but do they care, no. If you give them a real answer their eyes start to glaze over so you just give them the standard answer, fine and they say great. I really wish this wasn’t such a commonplace question.

How has a failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?

We all have failures, we all have setbacks. But how we act after experiencing these failures is telling. Do you give up, mope, feel sorry for yourself and are convinced you can’t do whatever it is? We all do at times including myself. But, I have the type of personality that if you tell me I can’t, I will or try extremely hard to. If I fail at something I am very determined to pick myself back up again and get to it.

You’re writing your autobiography. What’s your opening sentence?

My opening sentence for my autobiography will be: She tried to keep her bookshelves tidy but soon the books took over.
