Daily Prompt, Sat 19

What have you been working on?

I’ve been working on my health. Eating better and walking, meal prepping and planning. I’m enjoying the weight loss and extra energy that’s going along with this.

I know, so true. When I had covid several years ago I didn’t even want to read, unfortunately since I had so much time on my hands. I was so achy and tired I just wanted to sleep. Getting the exercise isn’t always easy. It’s so easy to just say to ourselves, nah, I just don’t feel like it today. Glad to hear you have the motivation to keep going. The results are so worth it.

Hi:) typed vegan into my search bar and you came up.. thank you for joining me for breakfast. Since the house is cold I plan on making a spicy coconut soup.. tofu nuggets and a salad.

presently.. recovering from long term Covid.. just starting to work out again.. growing in handy woman skills, gazing at my young food forest and hoping to maybe go play in it today.. and trying to be somewhat ready at a moments notice for my daughter who is also my agent, to tell me what steps we need to take next in regards to the poetry publication offer we signed recently.

Oh. And I have a dog. She is an always sometimes activity lol.

Thank you, it’s always fascinating to meet people of like mind. Love tofu stir-fry.
I am wishing you the best in your recovery.
I love growing things too. My Kale grows all year long here. Didn’t realize that when I planted it.
I have three cats, love all animals. Wish you and you daughter, love, peace and happiness.

Is your kale perennial? We have tree collards that are making a come back after eaten by someone who seemed to enjoy them immensely.
If your kale is perennial, what is your growing zone? Am always looking for new perennials for our food forest..

Please give my best to all your Meows.

I am in Pennsylvania and this will be it’s third winter. It takes the cold and freezing temperatures and continues to grow and look fresh. It did bud and flower but.now it has the edible leaves agin. I have a green and a purple variety.

I certainly will. One is perched on my headboard right now.
