My most memorable vacation to date was a surprise anniversary trip two years ago. I’ve been telling my husband I had wanted to visit Boston for a while. You have to understand, I live in a rural area, we have cows, fields, the stink of manure , farming accidents and one stoplight in our village. Of course I’ve been to big cities before, Pittsburgh, Chicago, etc but not often. I wanted to go to Boston and we did . We drove up through New York and parts of Pennsylvania I had never been to before. It was a surprise and he wouldn’t tell me where we were going. I was so excited because we went to all the New England states and there was so much to see and do. My two favorite New England states ended up being Massachusetts and Maine. We’ve gone back several times since then and I look forward to visiting again.
