Do you remember life before the internet?
Of course I do and even when it became very popular I wasn’t on it at first because I had a bunch of little children and babies I was raising and they were always my priority.

I could say that I don’t remember life before internet because I wasn’t born yet in 1960. But it depends. In the 1960′ there was DARPA Net before the modern internet, which came into existence 1990 with the World Wide Web. In the 1980’s I was using emails (invented 1975), websites, file transfers across computers and countries, and interactive messaging, long before the world wide web. And many would call that internet. Therefore, this question isn’t straight forward. Do they mean internet in every home, the world wide web, or DARPA Net?

I do, and it was nice to raise may children in a non-Internet era. So much easier than today. However, soon after it’s establishment I was the first faculty member to develop and run an international meetings using the internet!
