Do you vote in political elections?
I haven’t voted in a while. Politicians do whatever they want anyways, despite what they tell us in the beginning.

After working with politicians I’ve come to realize that they do have their own opinions and they are influenced by big donors/money, but they still pay attention to voters, especially primary voters. US districts are often so gerrymandered that regular voters matter much less than primary voters. Another thing to consider is that it is easy to believe that most people agree with your opinion when they may not. The way to fix that is to win people over to your side.

I have always voted, from the time I became eligible. I consider it a right, a privilege and a duty.

I vote in every election and have since I turned 18. I figure if I vote, then I can complain. If I don’t bother to vote, I don’t think I have a right to complain because I didn’t do anything to try and change things.
