What job would you do for free?
I would enjoy teaching others to read. I don’t understand how the illiteracy rate is so high in the United States and many that can read have a 6th grade reading level. Okay not everyone enjoys reading books on their own time and I can understand that but you need to be able to read to function in society. What about signing legal forms, getting a job, ordering from a menu, helping your child with homework and lots more. Do these people just look at pictures? I’m not making fun of anyone I’m just genuinely wondering how someone could function being illiterate.

Transferring our knowledge to them is great too because they can learn something that someday they can apply with

Oh my goodness yes, such a great point. I can imagine someone struggling to read has a very hard time of things in their day to day life and I’d like to change that.

Yes, teaching others to read. Now doing this with my grandson, but I remember the day my son came home from daycare and told me he could read, then sat down and showed me!

That’s amazing. Now that’s a moment to be really proud of. So wonderful you’re doing this with your grandson now, the close bonding time and children just think they’re having fun.

Teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ for free every day. I do this anyway and the people who knows me actually think I am crazy because I will not charge a fee. But when I tell them that God the Father never interviewed me or had me to fill out an application for employment. He never asked me for a resume and He didn’t asked me for any references to do a background check. Instead, He told me to come and He would teach me everything that I know and that I was to go and leave no rock or tree unturned. But teach them the truth and the truth shall set them free.
So, how can I charge when I myself was lost and now I am found by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself?
