Daily Prompt 10 Sun March

Write a letter to your 100-year-old self.

Dear Deanne,

I see you made it to 100.

Since you have I know it’s not by luck but by taking care of yourself healthy eating, not eating meat, proper care of your skin, resting and relaxation when you’ve needed to along with enough sleep, controlling your emotions a positive attitude, listening to others, compassion and through the grave of God. I’m sure we have cured a lot of diseases including cancers and Alzheimer’s. I’m sure the world is a better place for all of us now. I’m glad I made it to this age and that my health is holding up.

You’re 100! What? Whoa! What a ride? Be proud of yourself girl. You’ve fought through adversity gaining the knowledge and awareness of many great lessons. Having that knowledge has been your key. You appreciate things when they’ve went wrong. Although it hasn’t been easy and many times you wanted to give up. You didn’t.
I have to say; that the one thing you always hoped for all your life? That at the end of your life you didn’t want to be a disappointment to yourself. Remember? Well you’re far from a disappointment. SEE.
Your life has been meaningful and you’ve crossed paths with many great people. Those people that have been fortunate to have met you and you meeting them.
Your faith in The Lord and Savior is just as strong as it is today than it was when you were in Young Womens.
