You can just walk inside?

The front doors were open and the Capital police were there and a historian who offered a tour but we just did self guided. So yes, it was fascinating and informative. Very surprised we were able to actually see all of these rooms.

I love seeing all these beautiful sights. Carved staircases are so beautiful. I’ve seen some intricate ones in lighthouses I’ve visited.

I hope it convinces him it’s time to pack up and go. This week was unseasonably hot so the leaves weren’t at peak yet , which is why we went this week. Figures the day after we get back it’s now cooler. It’s the perfect time of year to travel though. The crowds are down a bit too off peak. Here’s to convincing him this is the perfect time for traveling and having a blast. 😁🍁🍂🧳
