Wow, Author Lynette Eason starts her new series Extreme Measures with title Life Flight. As soon as you start it you will find yourself on an adrenaline rush. When I started this book I read it all in one sitting til after 2 a.m. I just couldn’t put it down. The characters are flawed like we all are and this makes it even more realistic. I enjoyed seeing EMS helicopter pilot Penny Carlton and FBI Special Agent Holt Satterfield’s interaction. He was very protective of her, always having her back but in actuality I think she had his back more often, coming to his rescue many times. They have a good and respectful relationship, both working and personal. Nonstop action in this one doesn’t allow the characters for much down time. I did enjoy seeing the long standing relationship Penny has with her girlfriends and the time they spend together. A wicked storm has Penny out in it trying to land her medical helicopter safely on a mountain. Her stress level is already up but she then finds out about a serial killer on the loose in the area she is in. The author writes with such talent her books are very intriguing.
